Mount Airy Plant

Our Mount Airy Plant was acquired by Luck Stone in October 2021 as part of one of the largest acquisitions in the company’s history. Located about 35 miles north of Winston-Salem, the Mount Airy Plant serves the town of Mount Airy and surrounding communities as well as the northern Winston-Salem market.

Areas Served 

Counties of Surry, Stokes, Yadkin, Forsyth, Carole, and Patrick, NC.

Geology 

Thinly banded layers in much of the quarry and darker amphibolite rock occurring more randomly- these rocks were compressed into a northeast-to-southwest orientation by the mountain-building tectonic forces that created the Alleghany Mountain Chain.
